Precision Balls - Diameter

The diameter field in the part number is the nominal diameter of the ball and is represented by one whole number and 5 decimals (6 digits total).  For instance, ½ inch balls or 0.50000 inch diameter would be represented as  050000.  Similarly ¼ inch balls would be 025000. Metric sized balls are represented by their decimal inch size.  Example 3.5mm converts to 0.13780 inches.  This would be represented by 013780 and with a suffix on the part number of MM.

The diameter and gauge numbers together are needed to describe the specific ball's actual diameter.
