Our standard lead screws are available in diameters from 0.2 in (6
mm) to 2 in (50 mm). We are able to produce some special sizes down to
0.05 in (1.2 mm) diameter. Leads range from 0.01 in (0.3 mm) to over 2
in (50 mm) standard. We can supply leads over 3.5 times the diameter.
Our screws are primarily made of 300 Series stainless steel, though we do offer some sizes in low carbon steel. The low carbon steel screws are primarily for use with bronze nuts.
Lead accuracy grades:
- SRA = 0.010 in/ft or 250 mm/300 mm
- SPR = 0.003 in/ft or 75 mm/300 mm
We can provide lead screws with a PTFE coating, a solid film lubricant on the screw that enhances the lubricity of the screw assembly without grease.
