  • Straightness:     .0001”/ft
  • Diameters: 1/8 to 1/4 inches

316 Stainless steel

316 Stainless shafting is our "corrosion proof" offering. This shaft cannot be case hardened.  With a soft surface, it is NOT suitable for use will Ball Bushing® or roller bearings. Use this shafting with Fluoronyliner bushings.

  • Rc Hardness:    20 HRC minimum
  • Surface Finish:    8 Ra
  • Straightness:     .001”/ft
  • Diameters:    1/4 to 2 inches
  • Lengths:  up to 138 inches

52100 Tubular

52100 Tubular

Tubular shafting provides a 29% to 56% reduction in weight compared to standard solid carbon steel. The hollow inner diameter can be used to route fluids, wires, lines, etc.

Specifications:
  • Rc Hardness:    58 HRC minimum
  • Surface Finish:    8 Ra
  • Straightness:     .001”/ft
  • Diameters:    3/4 to 4 inch
  • Lengths:  up to 178 inches

Aluminum Shaft

Aluminum

Aluminum shafting offers a 65% reduction in weight compared to solid steel shafting.  Aluminum shafting is NOT suitable for use with Ball Bushing® or roller bearings. Use with Fluoronyliner bearings.
