The specific grease used in Micron gearheads varies by model and is selected based on the rated load, speed and duty cycle of the gearhead. The gearheads are lubricated for the life of the unit and will not need additional grease. Adding grease could damage the unit. For special applications Thomson can supply gearheads with different greases, please contact application engineering for assistance.
