CS(C) / CF(C) Series Clutch and Clutch Couplings

Electromagnet clutches and clutch couplings are used to couple two shafts either through the use of pulleys, gears, sheaves, or direct inline mounting.  The field (electromagnet) assembly is prevented from rotating by an anti-rotation tab or flange and the rotor and armature assembly are mounted securely. When the coil is energized, the armature engages the friction surface of the rotor (coupling the two in-line shafts together for the coupling type), thus driving the load.
